José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, visited Cantanhede, in Portugal, on 24 April 2014.He received the Gold Medal of the city from the hands of João Moura, Mayor of Cantanhede. He then visited Biocant Park, a centre devoted to biotechnology, financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
