Visit of Johannes Hahn to Rhodes: meetings and press conference

On 23 April 2014, Johannes Hahn, Member of the EC in charge of Regional Policy, visited the Greek South Aegean region. He met Ioannis Mahairidis, Governor of South Aegean region, and Panayotis Carvounis, Head of the EC Representation in Greece.This region, consisting of 79 islands of the Dodecanese and the Cyclades, is the 10th of the 13 greek regions to welcome Johannes Hahn. The priority topics included the future use of regional EU funds for the period 2014-2020 and the question of optimization of funds during the remaining years of the current period
