EMAS Awards Ceremony in Hanover with the participation of Janez Potočnik

On 7 April 2014, Janez Potočnik, Member of the EC in charge of Environment, participated in the European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) Awards 2014 in presence of Stefan Schostok, Mayor of Hanover, in Germany. The six winning organisations were selected by an independent jury of environmental technology and eco-innovation experts. The winners all apply innovative solutions as a way of improving their environmental performance, demonstrating how important innovation is in the transition towards a circular and resource-efficient economy. This video shows extracts of the ceremony and group photo with the winners and nominees.
