Celebration of Latvia's accession to the euro area: ceremony with the participation of José Manuel Barroso and Olli Rehn

On 10 January 2014, José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, Herman van Rompuy, President of the European Council, Valdis Dombrovskis, Latvian Prime Minister, Olli Rehn, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro, Andris Vilks, Latvian Minister for Finance, and Burkhard Balz, Member of the EP, gave an official speech on the Celebration of Latvia's accession to the euro area, in Riga. On this occasion, José Manuel Barroso and Herman van Rompuy also answered a series of questions.
