104th plenary session of the Committee of the Regions: 29/11/2013

On 29 November 2013, the 104th plenary session of the Committee of the Regions (CoR) took place in Brussels, Belgium. During this plenary session, Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Inter-Institutional Relations and Administration, discussed the European Commission's work program for 2014 and debate the future of the Union. Amongst others, CoR members adopted their position on the EU's move to ensure efficient management of traveller flows at its external borders on the basis of an opinion prepared by António Santos da Costa, the Mayor of Lisbon. Also on the agenda was the opinion of Maria Luisa Coppola, Municipal Councillor of Vento, on sustainable Aquaculture.
