Final plenary meeting of the 'Licences for Europe' stakeholder dialogue: statement by Michel Barnier
On 13 November 2013, Michel Barnier, Member of the EC in charge of Internal Market and Services, made a statement on the occasion of the final plenary meeting of the "Licences for Europe" stakeholder dialogue.
"Licences for Europe" is a stakeholder dialogue in the area of digital content launched by the European Commission in February 2013. Its objective is to foster practical industry-led initiatives to bring more copyright-protected content online in the Digital Single Market.
The dialogue was jointly led by Michel Barnier, Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the EC in charge of the Digital Agenda, and Androulla Vassiliou, Member of the EC in charge of Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth. SHOTLISTLINK
