Final plenary meeting of the 'Licences for Europe' stakeholder dialogue: statement by Neelie Kroes

On 13 November 2013, Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the EC in charge of the Digital Agenda, made a statement on the occasion of the final plenary meeting of the "Licences for Europe" stakeholder dialogue. "Licences for Europe" is a stakeholder dialogue in the area of digital content launched by the European Commission in February 2013. Its objective is to foster practical industry-led initiatives to bring more copyright-protected content online in the Digital Single Market. The dialogue was jointly led by Neelie Kroes, Androulla Vassiliou, Member of the EC in charge of Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, and Michel Barnier, Member of the EC in charge of Internal Market and Services.
