On 29 October 2013, Štefan Füle, Member of the EC in charge of Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, received Marian Lupu, Chairman of the Moldovan Parliament, Vladimir Filat, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, Vladimir Plahotniuc, Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party of Moldova and First Deputy Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament, Valeriu Strelet, Chairman of the Liberal-Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) faction of the EP, and Ion Hadärca, President of the Liberal Reformists Party of Moldova (PLR), in Brussels.
