Press conference by Karel De Gucht on amicable solution in the EU/China solar panels case

On 29 July 2013, Karel De Gucht, Member of the EC in charge of Trade, gave a press conference on amicable solution in the EU/China solar panels case at the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium. After weeks of intensive talks, Karel De Gucht announced that he is satisfied with the offer of a price undertaking submitted by China’s solar panel exporters, which is the basis for an amicable solution that both the EU and China were looking for in the solar panels case.
