"My Story": Nauras & Ebrahim, Germany (complementary video 2)

Nauras Hason left Iraq with her family for political reasons, she was only 7. After spending 5 years in Jordan, she finds herself in Germany at the age of 13: “Everything was so new here: the culture, the people, the food. I had to start again from scratch.” The video series “My Story” tells the paths of ordinary people beating the odds. Well-timed support from the European Social Fund (ESF) helped them to improve their skills and find work.
