Aged 17, Ebrahim Magham fled the Iranian war to join his mother and brother in Germany. After a 21-day walk from Teheran to Italy, he finally reaches his destination to start from scratch: new country, new language, new friends, new school... The video series “My Story” tells the paths of ordinary people beating the odds. Well-timed support from the European Social Fund (ESF) helped them to improve their skills and find work.
