Visit of José Manuel Barroso to Poland

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, went to Warsaw where he notably met with Donald Tusk, Polish Prime Minister. Discussions focused on the Banking Union and, in particular, on the Single Resolution Mechanism proposal adopted the day before by the EC. The two leaders then participated together in the 1st General Assembly of the "New Narrative for Europe".
José Manuel Barroso eventually met with Bronisław Komorowski, President of Poland, to discuss the relations of the EU with its Eastern neighbours.
