Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, took part in the Citizens' Dialogue in Heidelberg, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, on 16 July 2013.
Viviane Reding, along with Winfried Kretschmann, Minister President of the Land of Baden-Württemberg, debated with over 400 citizens about the future of the European Union. They discussed the economic crisis and its impact on people's daily lives, EU citizens' rights and the future of the EU.
