On 30 June 2013, José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, and Štefan Füle, Member of the EC in charge of Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, went to Zagreb to participate in the celebrations for the accession of Croatia to the EU, in the presence of Ivo Josipović, President of Croatia, and Zoran Milanović, Croatian Prime Minister. Herman van Rompuy, President of the European Council, and Martin Schulz, President of the EP, were also present.
