Participation of Androulla Vassiliou in the 66th Cannes International Film Festival: opening of a conference on the cultural exception and round table on cinema and other forms of art

On 20 May 2013, Androulla Vassiliou, Member of the EC in charge of Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, travelled to Cannes, in France where she attended the 66th Cannes International Film Festival. On this occasion, she participated in opening of a conference on the cultural exception and in a round table on the future of cinema as entertainment, moderated by Ian Christie, British film scholar .
