Visit of John Kerry, US Secretary of State, to José Manuel Barroso: statements

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, and John Kerry, US Secretary of State, held a joint press briefing following their bilateral meeting on 22 April 2013 in Brussels. During their meeting, they discussed EU/US relations, notably the negotiations of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Agreement, climate change, visa reciprocity and a data protection agreement. Regarding worldwide stability, they also discussed the situation in North Korea, Iran, the Middle East, Syria and the Sahel.
