Brussels European Council with the participation of José Manuel Barroso (2nd day)

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, and the Heads of State or Government of the EU met in Brussels for the European Council hosted by Herman van Rompuy, President of the European Council. This clip presents the final joint press conference.
During the second day of meeting, the Heads of State or Government listened to a presentation by the British Prime Minister on the G8. The three key priorities, the three "T's", were Transparency, Tax evasion and Trade. José Manuel Barroso made it clear that preventing tax evasion was a priority because everyone should pay their fair share of tax. On Trade he outlined that it was particularly important to restate the commitment to a strong multilateral trading system.
