Nobel Peace Prize® Awardees visiting the EC


The European Union is awarded the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize® for advancing the causes of peace, reconciliation, democracy and human rights in Europe. The Nobel Peace Prize® has been awarded 93 times to 124 Nobel Laureates between 1901 and 2012, 100 individuals and 24 organisations. Some of them visited the European Commission, its Presidents or Commissioners.
