How can we drive inclusive and sustainable growth? EDD12: Join the debate!

On 16 and 17 October Brussels (Belgium) will host the 7th edition of the European Development Days (#EDD12). ‘Empowering People for Inclusive Growth’ is one of the three sub-themes of EDD12 and a major opportunity to tackle inequalities that disempower and exclude the poor throughout the world. Economic growth without jobs and social cohesion can be an explosive combination, so it’s of vital importance that growth is broad-based across sectors and inclusive. Organised by the European Commission, the EDD is Europe’s premier forum on international affairs and development cooperation. The EDD is a policy-making laboratory for practitioners from the field and decision-makers to share their experience and generate new ideas. The forum is a truly collaborative platform where everybody has a say. You can also join the debate on the headline theme of EDD12: ‘Supporting Inclusive and Sustainable Growth for Human Development’. We look forward to receiving your views and questions!
