Visit of Atifete Jahjaga, President of Kosovo, to José Manuel Barroso
José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, received Atifete Jahjaga, President of Kosovo. The two Presidents addressed the actions that had been undertaken to bring Kosovo further on its European path. These actions were among others the launch of the visa liberalisation process for Kosovo and the EULEX's mission to Kosovo.
During the joint press conference José Manuel Barroso emphasised the need to continue focusing and engaging on the key priorities like the rule of law, integration of minorities and Trade. These priorities would be also part of the feasibility study for a Stabilisation and Association Agreement with Kosovo which was being prepared by the EC and would be ready for the autumn 2012.
