Rio+20 conference with the participation of José Manuel Barroso

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, participated in the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development Rio+20 (UNCSD 2012). This conference marked the 20th anniversary of the 1992 UN Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), in Rio de Janeiro, and the 10th anniversary of the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in Johannesburg.
This clip presents the opening speech by José Manuel Barroso, expressing Europe's unwavering commitment to sustainable development and to the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals. The group photo of Rio+20 is also shown.
