Soil Sealing (B-Roll)

Soil sealing happens when you cover the soil with an impermeable surface like asphalt or concrete. This procedure is of course useful because you need a certain stability for buildings and roads but with soil sealing you lose a variety of important soil functions, above all soil fertility. If the soil has been 'sealed', it is important that it is used efficiently later. A more integrated approach would be to limit the sealing wherever possible, mitigate it with measures to soften the damage, or to compensate by returning unused land to a more natural state.
