EU Enlargement - 2011: Montenegro

These video stock shots on Montenegro cover four topics: a general presentation of Montenegro; key reforms on the path to the EU; the EU and Montenegro working together; and what Montenegro can bring to the EU. They feature new images of the capital Podgorica, the main political institutions, and images of some of the main coastal and inland cities, such as Cetinje, Tivat and Budva. They illustrate key reform areas marking the relations between Montenegro and the European Union, such as the judiciary, the fight against corruption and organised crime, media freedom etc. The EU's support to Montenegro's efforts to adopt EU standards is illustrated through a series of projects in the following areas: rule of law, infrastructure, public administration, border management, etc. The natural wealth, cultural heritage and human potential are illustrated through a set of examples of what Montenegro can bring to the EU. This is shown in the following sub-chapters: nature and people.
