Opening of the exhibition "En route vers le Futur - Driving the Future today" with the participation of Maroš Šefčovič

Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Inter-Institutional Relations and Administration, participated in the opening of the exhibition "En route vers le Futur - Driving the Future today" organised as part of the European Mobility Week.
The centrepiece of the exhibition was the electric roadster project I-CARE. This urban electric vehicle created by a Belgian, Xavier van der Stappen, was made with locally available materials. To promote his invention, Xavier van der Stappen challenged himself to travel to European capitals from April to July 2012, aboard the I-Care.
