In North Wales, marine professions form a key sector. The island of Anglesey hosts the “Growth in environmental marine science” project, whose aim is to improve the sector’s competitiveness by assisting SME’s and young graduates to develop their business or achieve their research. At the origin of the project is a cluster called “Bridge Marine Science Group”, that gathers more than 500 water-related businesses.
