Digital Agenda 2011

The Digital Agenda is Europe's strategy for a flourishing digital economy by 2020. It outlines policies and actions to maximise the benefit of the Digital Revolution for all. To achieve these goals, the Commission will work closely with national governments, concerned organisations and companies. An annual Digital Assembly will bring stakeholders together to assess progress and emerging challenges. The first edition of this assembly will take place in Brussels on 16 and 17 June 2011. This video stockshot covers: - Communication Technologies: a selection of the latest mobile devices and technologies - smartphones, tablets, wireless applications - as presented at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from 14 to 17 February 2011. - Emerging Technologies: filmed at the European Future Technologies Conference and Exhibition (FET11) which took place in Budapest from 4 to 6 May 2011.
