The Audiovisual Service of the European Commission has edited archives to illustrate today's visit to Greece of Olli Rehn, Member of the EC in charge of Economic and Monetary Affairs. The Commissioner is travelling to Athens to hold discussions with Greek officials on their country's debt crisis and austerity measures to curb public spending.
These archives include:
- footage filmed in Athens (2008 and 2009), banks, people in street, office and apartment for rent/for sale, tourism etc.;
- archive pictures from the last informal European Council in Brussels (11 February 2010 - departure of Heads of State or Government).
