1 019 views

The Audiovisual Service of the European Commission has edited archives to illustrate the visit on 01/03/2010 to Greece of Olli Rehn, Member of the EC in charge of Economic and Monetary Affairs. The Member of the EC was travelling to Athens to hold discussions with Greek officials on their country's debt crisis, and austerity measures to curb public spending. These archives included: - footage filmed in Athens (2008 and 2009), banks, people in street, office and apartment for rent/for sale, and public monuments; - and archive pictures from the last informal meeting of Heads of State or Government, at the European Council in Brussels, on 11 February 2010.
