Annual Convention of the European Platform against Poverty and Social Exclusion: questions and answers following the debate, conclusion by László Andor
On 7 December 2012, László Andor, Member of the EC in charge of Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, participated in the debate with EU Ministers for Social Affairs and gave a closing speech at the Second Annual Convention of the Platform against Poverty and Social Exclusion, in Brussels. On this occasion, they mainly answered questions on the Social Investment Package.
The European Platform against poverty and social exclusion sets out actions to reach the EU target of reducing poverty and social exclusion by at least 20 million by 2020. Launched in 2010, the platform is part of the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. PHOTOSHOTLIST
