Homelessness and soup kitchens

This video illustrates two examples of assistance to the homeless in Tatabánya, Hungary. The "Tea-Line" is a small van used by social workers to distribute sandwiches and tea. It has been running since the winter of 1996-1997. The "Special Shelter", a shelter where homeless people are not required to present any documents or to pass any alcohol test and where couples can sleep together in the same room, is a pilot project that started in January 2010 and is the first one in Hungary.
