On the occasion of the WTO Ministerial Summit in Singapore from 9th to 13th December 1996, the Audiovisual Production unit of the European Commission has prepared a video dossier “World Trade : Latin America”.Short presentation of the Mercosur Member States: Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and development projects in the following areas: infrastructure (transamazonian road, aerial views, building works, dam), education (construction of a school), health (dispensary, treatment), environment (sewage treatment plant, installation of the dams) in Amazonia.With thanks to the Interamerican Development Bank and Deutsche Welle
