Visit of Johannes Hahn, Member of the EC, to France

Johannes Hahn, Member of the EC in charge of Regional Policy, went to Tours where he met with Victorin Lurel, French Minister for Overseas, and Thierry Repentin, French Minister Delegate for European Affairs. He then participated in the French Partnership Closure Conference, which was organised by the French Interministerial Delegation for Regional Planning and Regional Attractiveness (DATAR).
Johannes Hahn continued his trip in France with a visit to Orleans to discover several projects which were funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), such as the programme entitled "Supporting the regional networks of research excellence" of the Bureau of Geological and Mining Research (BRGM), or the programme "Biological and Medical Imaging Research" of the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
