Visit of Štefan Füle, Member of the EC, to Croatia

Štefan Füle, Member of the EC in charge of Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, embarked on a visit to Zagreb as part of the presentation of the Monitoring Report on Croatia's preparations for joining the EU. The Commission assessed that Croatia completed the ten priority actions identified in the previous report in October, and showed the will and ability to fulfil all outstanding commitments in good time before accession. The Commission concluded that Croatia will be ready to join the European Union on 1 July 2013.
