Visit of Neven Mimica, Member of the EC, to Germany

Neven Mimica, Member of the EC in charge of Consumer Policy, went to Munich where he participated in an event organised by the Wirtschaftsbeirat Bayern, together with Otto Wiesheu, President of the Wirtschaftsbeirat Bayern. Neven Mimica made a speech entitled "Perspectives of the European Consumer Policy" on this occasion. They then together attended the presentation of the book "Die vergessene Wahrheit - Der deutsche Einfluss auf die Staatsgründung Kroatiens" (The Forgotten Truth: The German influence on Croatia's statehood" by its author, Ivan Šimek, former Consul General of Croatia in Munich. The book was co-edited by the Center for Applied Policy Research (C.A.P) of the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) of Munich.
Neven Mimica eventually met with Marcel Huber, Bavarian Minister for Environment and Consumer Protection.
