Biennial Consumer Product Safety Trilateral Summit EU/United States/China, 19/06/2014

Neven Mimica, Member of the EC in charge of Consumer Policy, participated in the 4th Biennial Consumer Product Safety Trilateral Summit EU/United States/China together with Elliot Kaye, Executive Director and Chairman designate of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and Sun Dawei, Chinese Vice-Minister responsible for the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). The event took place in the framework of the International Product Safety Week (IPSW) 2014.
The three participants exchanged views and information concerning further improvements to consumer product safety, including the significant enhancement of the product safety culture by Industry.
After the Summit Tonio Borg, Member of the EC in charge of Health, received Sun Dawei.
