Visit of Neven Mimica, Member of the EC, to Romania

Neven Mimica, Member of the EC in charge of Consumer Policy, went to Bucharest where he made a speech at the Henri Coandă International Airport and gave an interview. Neven Mimica also met there with Marius Alexandru Dunca, Vice-President of the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), and Irina Chiritoiu, Director of the European Consumer Centre (ECC) Romania, on the occasion of the Air Passenger Rights Day 2014. They met again later in the headquarters of the ANPC.
The day after Neven Mimica also met with Victor Ponta, Romanian Prime Minister, and Valeriu Zgonea, President of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies. He eventually attended a meeting with the finalists of a consumer classroom project before he met with representatives of Romanian NGOs dedicated to consumer protection.
