Visit of José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, to Lisbon

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, went to Lisbon where he made a speech at the office of the CAIS association. The President received the "Charles Vth European Award" on 16/01/2014 and he donated half of the € 90,000 euros of his reward to the renovation of his former high school in Lisbon, Liceu Camões (Secondary School of Camões), and to the CAIS association, a Portuguese organisation that helped the homeless and poor.
