Visit of Catherine Ashton, Vice-President of the EC, to Bosnia and Herzegovina

Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC, went to Sarajevo. The Vice-President met with several leaders of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also took part in a meeting with representatives of the civil society to discuss the situation in the country.
During the press conference at the end of her visit, Catherine Ashton notably underlined that the primary responsibility for the country's EU integration lied with its leaders. However she added that the EU was ready to look at more ways to help Bosnia and Herzegovina to achieve this.
