EPP Summit, 06-07/03/2014

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, went to Dublin where he participated in the European People's Party (EPP) Summit with Herman van Rompuy, President of the European Council. This Summit addressed the decisions taken earlier that day during the extraordinary meeting of Heads of State or Government of the EU which focused on the situation in Ukraine. The 22nd EPP Congress also took place on the same day to elect the candidate of the Party for the elections for the next President of the EC. The final preparations for the EPP campaign for the European elections were also on the agenda.
