Visit of Catherine Ashton, Vice-President of the EC, to Ukraine

Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC, went to Kyiv where she met with representatives of the Ukrainian opposition: Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament and Leader of the "Fatherland" Party, Vitaliy Klitschko, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament and Leader of the Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reform Party, and Oleh Tyahnybok, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament and Leader of the All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda" Party. The Vice-President then met with Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine.
