Participation of Catherine Ashton, Vice-President of the EC, in the 50th Munich Security Conference

Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC, participated in the 50th Munich Security Conference (MSC). At the occasion of this meeting, known as the "Davos of security policy", several world leaders and diplomats reviewed some challenges facing world security. The 50th edition focused on the crisis in Syria, the negotiations over Iran's nuclear program, and cybersecurity.
The Vice-President also took part in several bilateral meetings outside the conference.
