Visit of László Andor, Member of the EC, to Sweden

László Andor, Member of the EC in charge of Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, travelled to Lund to visit the project "Comung" funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). The objective of the project was to catch young adults outside of society and guide them to become self-supporting individuals by mobilizing recourses from the projects collaboration partners. On this occasion, László Andor delivered the speech entitled "EU social model after the crisis". He then travelled to Malmö to visit the project "Youth project FC Rosengård", also funded by the ESF, which focused on young people aged between 16-24 in need of support during the transition from school to working life. The project offered health activities, training of entrepreneurial skills, education in the Swedish and English language and in mathematics and also individual competence development and training in working places.
