Visit of Catherine Ashton, Vice-President of the EC, to Japan

Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC, went to Tokyo where she met with Itsunori Onodera, Japanese Minister for Defence. The Vice-President then participated in a round table discussion with Japanese Foreign Policy Scholars.
Catherine Ashton also met with Shunichi Suzuki, Member of the Japanese House of Representatives, and Fumio Kishida, Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs.
