Janez Potočnik, Member of the EC in charge of Environment, travelled to Antwerp to participate in several workshops on combating illegal export of waste and materials in Europe. The other participants were: Patrick van den Bossche, Director of the sector "Metals & materials" of Agoria, Jan Verbist, Harbour Master of the Port Authority of Antwerp, Joke Schauvliege, Flemish Minister for the Environment, Nature and Culture, Alain Liger, General Secretary of the French Committee for Strategic Metals (COMES), and Volker Pawlitzki, Senior Vice-President for Commercial Recycling of Aurubis.
