Visit of Štefan Füle, Member of the EC, to Armenia

Štefan Füle, Member of the EC in charge of Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, went to Erevan to discuss EU's relations and cooperation with Armenia and take stock of the progress made in the final phase of the negotiations for Association Agreements including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Areas, in view of their initializing at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius in November 2013.
During his trip, Štefan Füle discussed with several Members of the government, among them: Serge Sargsyan, President of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan, Armenian Prime Minister, Edward Nalbandian, Armenian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Armen Ashotyan, Armenian Minister for Education and Sciences, and Arthur Baghdasaryan, Armenian National Security Council Secretary.
