Launch of the first round of negotiations in view of the conclusion of a Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Japan

Mauro Petriccione, Director for Asia and Latin America at the DG Trade of the EC, and Jun Yokota, Japanese Chief Negotiator, Special Representative of the Government in charge of the negotiations on the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between the EU and Japan, participated in the plenary session of the first round of negotiations to achieve a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the EU and Japan, organised in Brussels.
