Visit of Marie-Arlette Carlotti, French Minister Delegate for Disabled People and the Fight against Exclusion, to the EC

Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, received Marie-Arlette Carlotti, French Minister Delegate for Disabled People and the Fight against Exclusion. Discussions focused on strengthening the rights of persons with disabilities in Europe.
The EC had adopted the 2010-2020 strategy "for people with disabilities". An action plan 2010-2015 was underway and a European Accessibility Act was being prepared.
