Opening of the exhibition on the cultural and natural sites in Bulgaria, with the participation of Kristalina Georgieva, Member of the EC

Kristalina Georgieva, Member of the EC in charge of International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response, visited the photo exhibition on the cultural and natural sites of Bulgaria.
The exhibition was part of a series of events promoting Bulgarian cultural, culinary and musical tradition that took place in the Berlaymont, the headquarters of the EC in Brussels. The initiative was organised under the patronage of Kristalina Georgieva for the National Day of Bulgaria, which is celebrated on 3 March.
The photos show the nine Bulgarian monuments which are included in UNESCO's World Heritage List. Among them are the Rila monastery, the Boyana church, the Ivanovo rock shrines and The Madara horseman.
