1st day events ahead of the award of the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize® to the EU

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, Herman van Rompuy, President of the European Council, and Martin Schulz, President of the EP, went to Oslo to participate in the 1st day events ahead of the award of the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize® to the EU.
The three leaders signed the guest book of the Nobel Institute and gave a joint press conference with Thorbjørn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe and Chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, and Geir Lundestad, Director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute and Secretary of the Norwegian Nobel Committee.
Herman van Rompuy and José Manuel Barroso then visited the Munch museum.
