Visit of Connie Hedegaard, Member of the EC, to the Swedish company Jernhusen, owner of the innovative plan to use human body heat as a source of renewable energy

Connie Hedegaard, Member of the EC in charge of Climate Action, travelled to Stockholm where she visited the company Jernhusen, which is charge of running railway stations of the country. The company has developed a process to recover the heat produced by the human body (of the passengers passing through the station), which will be transformed into energy to be used to heat a part of the station.
