Participation of Dacian Cioloş, Member of the EC, at the launch of the campaign for the 50th anniversary of the CAP, on the occasion of the event "Bruxelles Champêtre"

Dacian Cioloş, Member of the EC in charge of Agriculture and Rural Development, participated in a debate on the theme of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), which was organised on the occasion of the event "Bruxelles Champêtre" whose objective was to introduce the many activities and aspects of farm life.
On this occasion, Dacian Cioloş launched the new campaign for the 50th anniversary of the CAP. It was an excellent opportunity to build a common project involving the main rural actors and the European citizens to reflect on and debate the importance of agriculture in our lives.
The "50 Years of CAP Network" includes the EC, other European and national institutions dealing with agriculture, farmers' associations, other NGOs and rural actors. The network wants to celebrate this anniversary with all citizens at European, national, regional and - above all - local level in a creative, interactive and entertaining way.
